Assignment

I started a writing course this week, writing for pleasure.  One of the "assignments" is to write in our journal for 5 minutes, three times a week.  I love it, I have been so lax in keeping this journal up to date, I'm thrilled to have some motivation for doing so. 

Now, what to discuss today.  Hmmm, I just got my hair done today (one must keep the color maintained or one just looks tacky).  I always enjoy getting my hair done.  The place I go is just so much fun.  After three years of trying to find a place to get my hair done, which is one of the more difficult aspects of relocation, I found THE place.  It is right next door to our Veterinarian's office and is owned by his wife.  The lady who does my hair is wonderful.  She is the first person I trust to just do whatever she wants, and I always leave looking wonderful.  It is odd how a simple indulgence can make all the difference in one's outlook.  Before I started getting my hair colored, I had been living with the increasing amount of gray in my hair.  I finally decided I was far too young (43) to have so much gray hair, and I also decided I would like to be a red head as well.

Wow, that was a quick five minutes!  Okay, it was only four and a half, but I do believe I've exhausted the subject of my hair!
