Opening Day!
Apr. 1st, 2008 12:34 pmFirst things first, I am so incredibly behind on my f-list and responding, I feel I must apologize! I have no idea how I got this far behind, but I endeavor to catch up today!
Now, Opening Day!!!! Finally, it's baseball season. I'm a bit dubious about my Mavericks (basketball) right now, they are on the cusp as far as the play offs are concerned, so I've turned my attention to the Mariners (baseball). Don't get me wrong, I'm still watching all the Mavs games, but I'm seriously worried about their post season prospects.
Yesterday's game was fantastic, after watching some of the pregame hoopla, we settled in for the game itself. Okay, Yuniesky Betancourt made a rather glaring error, but it is still so early I tend to think errors don't start really counting until mid to late April. During the game, for which the roof of Safeco Field had been closed, there was a brief snow storm and the commentators were having too much fun chatting about the weather at that point. Hey, it's early for them too.
Anyway, I have to say this now while it's still true; "The Mariners are undefeated!!!!"
