Yesterday's futility
Apr. 24th, 2008 10:09 amYesterday, I started out going great. I got a couple of photo posts done, went outside to take my pictures for my tree sequences, coaxed Rochester to eat (he is being very clingy and sulky since G is out of town), organized some notes for my writing, went for my morning walk, all in all a very productive morning for me. Then I sat down to watch the Tuesday night Mavericks game which I had saved on TiVo.
Well, that stopped me dead in my tracks. FYI, the Mavs are currently 'playing' in the first round of the NBA Western Conference Playoffs against the New Orleans Hornets. Tuesday's game was the second game in a seven games series.
I would like to think the massive headache I developed yesterday had nothing to do with the Mavs game, but I can't. It was incredibly painful to watch, even worse than the first game. They are now trailing 0-2 in the series and, honestly, they are beaten. I hate to admit it, but they might get swept. *Descends to inarticulate grumbling* That freakin' Jason freakin' Kidd freakin' trade really worked out freakin' great, didn't it? I truly believe that Devin Harris could have given this team the spark they are so desperately needing right now.
*Grumble, Grrr*
So, today I'll be staying away from the TV and hoping against hope that Friday's game will see a complete turnaround!!!!
GO MAVS!!!!!!
